Mumbai Police has registered an FIR in opposition to Union minister Narayan Rane and his MLA son Nitesh Rane for allegedly defaming relations of the late Disha Salian, former supervisor of deceased Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, on numerous media platforms, an official stated on Sunday.

The FIR was registered in opposition to the Rane father-son duo on Saturday on the criticism lodged by Disha’s mom Vasanti Salian after she approached the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission (MSWC) demanding motion in opposition to Narayan Rane, Nitesh Rane and others for defaming the Salian household on numerous media platforms, he stated. The Ranes had made numerous defamatory claims relating to the demise of Disha, he stated quoting the FIR.
