Steffan Jones joins Rajasthan Royals as high-performance quick bowling coach: Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Friday introduced the signing of former pacer Steffan Jones because the franchises’ high-performance quick bowling coach. The 48-years previous will start his second stint on the IPL with Rajasthan Royals forward of the Tata IPL 2022.

Notably, Jones served RR again within the 2019 version of the IPL because the quick bowling coach. 

As per his new function, Steffan Jones will present worthwhile inputs to the bowlers within the Rajasthan Royals (RR) household. He will help, help and prepare the bowlers through the IPL 2022 and on the low season as nicely.

The inaugural champions of the IPL, Rajasthan Royals, in a press release, stated that Jones will work with the group throughout their pre-season camp from March 7-11 in Nagpur. All the Rajasthan contracted gamers, who are usually not concerned of their nationwide duties, will arrive in Nagpur on the Royals’ High-Performance Centre for the pre-season camp.

Steffan Jones expressed his delight and thanked the administration for giving him the chance to work with a bunch of proficient pacers within the group.

“I am delighted to be returning to the Rajasthan Royals and grateful to the management for giving me the opportunity to work with the team again. With a plethora of talented bowlers in our ranks, I’m looking forward to working with them round the year and preparing them to peak and excel when the season comes,” Jones stated.

Further, Jones can even give inputs to the RR Academies all around the globe to combine higher services for the budding gamers. All the, present and future, signed gamers by Rajasthan Royals will get an opportunity to coach in these academies beneath the watchful eyes of 48-years previous Steffan Jones.

“Steffan has been closely associated with the franchise over the past few years so he understands the culture perfectly, and brings with him a very able coaching style, which has been appreciated by both players and management in the past,” Royals’ Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara stated.

“We are delighted to welcome him back to the franchise in his new role, wherein he will be working with our bowlers and providing support to them throughout the year, and we’re confident his expertise can guide us to newer heights.”
