Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has welcomed Marylebone Cricket Club’s (MCC) resolution to alter the run-out at non-strikers’ finish from unfair play. Tendulkar says a number of the modifications in guidelines launched by the MCC are praiseworthy.
Interestingly, MCC, who’s the custodian of cricket legal guidelines, made just a few amendments and modifications to the prevailing legal guidelines of cricket just lately. All the brand new legal guidelines will come into pressure from October 1, 2022.

Sachin Tendulkar has appreciated the transfer of the MCC and mentioned:
“New guidelines have been launched in cricket by the MCC committee and I’m fairly supportive of couple of them. The first one being Mankading dismissal. I used to be all the time uncomfortable with that exact dismissal being referred to as ‘Mankaded’.
The legendary cricketer additional mentioned that he’s completely satisfied that ‘Mankad’ has been moved to run-out within the latest amendments.
“I am really happy that it’s been changed to run out. It always should have been run out according to me. So, this is one good news for all of us. I was not comfortable with it at all, but that won’t be the case anymore,” he added.
