Kumkum Bhagya fame Pooja Banerjee and her husband Sandeep Sejwal grew to become proud mother and father on Saturday morning. The couple has been blessed with a child lady. Hours after, Pooja’s husband Sandeep has now expressed happiness and has mentioned that he’s excited to take over the duty of parenthood.
“It is such a beautiful feeling. Both of us had wished for a daughter and our wish has finally come true. This is an exciting new responsibility, and we are raring to go,” Sandeep Sejwal told ETimes.
He also talked about how they have been preparing for baby care and revealed that a name for the little princess has not been decided yet. “We were well-prepared to embrace parenthood. Pooja and I have been looking forward to beginning our journey as parents. We had been reading up about baby care. Some of our family members have also given us notes about the dos and don’ts. We have turned our home into a baby-friendly space. We haven’t decided a name yet, and finalising that will be another exciting process. Plus, I will be on paternity leave for the next 15 days, to completely look after Pooja and the baby,” Sandeep added.
Earlier today, Pooja’s brother, Neil Banerjee also expressed happiness and mentioned that the Kumkum Bhagya fame is currently in the hospital. “We are in Nagpur right now, and we are extremely thrilled with this new addition to our family. Everyone in our family is in celebratory mode. Baby’s father and dadi (grandmother) are by Pooja’s side in the hospital. We too can’t wait to see the baby and shall visit her soon,” he advised TOI.
Last month, Pooja give up Kumkum Bhagya and talked about that she must preserve her well being first. “I haven’t advised the makers of my present that I’m quitting as of now. If the instances are too many and if there’s a scare then I might need to take a break and it is going to be a pressured break lengthy earlier than I deliberate. But well being comes first, I can’t assist it. If it involves that then it’s a must to do it,” she told Hindustan Times. Back then, she had also shared a glimpse of the farewell party that the Kumkum Bhagya team organised on her last working day.
For the unversed, Pooja and Sandeep Sejwal tied the knot in 2017. They had also participated in Nach Baliye in 2019.
