Delhi Capitals

Key Indian gamers: Rishabh Pant (skipper), Kuldeep Yadav and Yash Dhull, a dashing younger batsman who led India to victory on the Under-19 World Cup within the West Indies final month.

Top overseas gamers: David Warner (Australia batsman), Lungi Ngidi (South Africa quick bowler), Mustafizur Rahman (Bangladesh quick bowler).

IPL document: Runners-up (2020).

Lucknow Super Giants

Key Indian gamers: KL Rahul (skipper), Avesh Khan — a quick bowler who was purchased for $1.32 million at public sale, up from a base value of $26,500.

Top overseas gamers: Liam Livingstone (England batsman), Jonny Bairstow (England wicketkeeper-batsman), Kagiso Rabada (South Africa quick bowler). Livingstone was the costliest overseas participant on this season’s public sale, promoting for $1.52 million.

IPL document: Runners-up when named Kings XI Punjab (2014).

Rajasthan Royals

Key Indian gamers: Sanju Samson (skipper), Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin.

Top overseas gamers: Jos Buttler (England wicketkeeper-batsman), Nathan Coulter-Nile (Australia quick bowler), Shimron Hetmyer (West Indies batsman).
