Let’s discuss some points about vacuum cleaners which are significant. You will understand everything easily. Types of vacuum cleaners- the most popular are Canister Vacuum Cleaners.
They have varied types with different attachments to clean numerous kinds of surfaces. Then comes Handheld stick vacuum cleaners with battery. There maximum backup time is between 30-45 minutes. They have less attachments i.e less kind of surfaces can be cleaned. Last but not the least are Robotic Vacuum Cleaners which once programmed will automatically clean the surface. But they have many limitations- they don’t work on many surfaces and there are not much attachments with them.
In this review we will only talk about Canister Vacuum Cleaners because they have maximum attachments to clean maximum surfaces.
They are of 2 types- dry and wet and dry (I’ll tell about it later). They have 3 types of dust bags options-1) Replaceable Dust Bag 2) washable dust bag 3) without dust bag. I’ll tell about them later. Canister vacuum cleaners usually have HEPA air filter which is a good thing for brands. Brands use it as a tool to sell their product. HEPA filter is placed on the vent of ventilator so that the air is filtered when it comes out and you don’t feel dusty. But the life of HEPA filter is less and it is difficult to find their replacement.
This is a marketing gimmick. Any normal filter in vacuum cleaner is a good option.
Any vacuum cleaner never works on its peak power. A 2000W vacuum cleaner will work on 500W, 1500W and 2000W power.
It varies upon variable speed option which definitely comes with variable power option. The suction capacity is measured by Kilo-pascal (kPa) and 1kPa=1000 units of pressure. Better the kPa, better will be suction capacity.
The noise levels are checked under controlled room and not a normal room. The noise levels will be 15-20dB more than the numbers shown. It took us 45 days to make this 15 min video because we checked and tested many vacuum cleaners which you’ll see in this video. You can use both dry and wet and dry vacuum cleaners to clean cars. Don’t spend extra money on car vacuum cleaners.

Cleaner with 3L capacity and 1900W motor which gives 23kPa suction capacity. Inalsa has termed it as bag-less cyclonic vacuum cleaner and I must say it is a very beautiful design. It comes with host if attachments for different type of cleaning.
It has a HEPA filter and the best thing is its Variable Speed with swivel wheels. Variable speed is important and you’ll know the reason later.
It comes with 2 in 1 Crevice Nozzle, Round Brush and tube clip, Metal telescopic tube and floor cum carpet brush.
Its declared noise level are 85dB but in normal room its noise level is 98dB. It weighs 7Kg & has 5mt. Power cord. It has 2 years comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹6,300. Let’s talk about pros and cons. It is a good vacuum cleaner with variable power settings and HEPA filter. Then what’s the problem? The problem is its not so good suction power despite variable power settings.

Number 2 in my list if best vacuum cleaners is Philip’s Power Pro with 1.5L capacity and 1900W motor

This gives 33kPa suction capacity. Philips has used Powercyclone 5 technology. It has a EPA10 Allergy filter which is a good thing and it is light weight and has wheels. Its Advanced Dust container design looks good and can be easily removed.
Not to forget, you get activelock couplings. Apart from main attachment there is host pipe, crevice tool and integrated brush in attachments.
Its declared noise level are 82dB but when we checked, its noise levels were 95dB. Let’s see how its high suction power works.
It weighs 4.5Kg & has 6mt. Power cord. It has 2 years comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹7,300. Let’s talk about pros & cons.
It is an amazing vacuum cleaner with very good suction capacity (more than what you need). It is light weight and can be
carried easily anywhere. But there are a few cons. There no speed control or power control to match its suction capacity.
It will work only on maximum suction capacity. That is a bad thing according to me. It has less attachments and all kinds of surfaces can’t be cleaned. If that’s fine for you and you are satisfied with its attachments, then links are given in above. Do check this as it is one of the best sellers.

This gives 25kPa suction capacity. It has both vacuum cleaner and a blower. It comes with Reusable dust bag and an indicator when it gets full. It has a HEPA filter with 360° Swivel Wheels. The best thing is its Variable Power Settings. Power and Suctions capacity can be controlled by a jog dial because different surfaces have different power capacities.
In attachments it has main unit, host pipe, telescopic metal tube, floor brush, multipurpose brush and crevice nozzle. Its declared noise level are 80dB but when we checked, its noise
levels were 90dB. Let’s see how its high suction power works.
It weighs 10.6Kg and has 5mt. Power cord. It has 1 years comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹8,000. Let’s talk about pros and cons. It is an amazing vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter, variable power settings, and has low noise levels (despite such a good suction capacity). But there is only 1 con. Its jogg dial is a free turning dial with no resistance.
Its jog dial is not like microwaves feedback dial but that’s not a big con. Another thing is its only 1 year comprehensive warranty whereas competitors provide 2 years comprehensive warranty. Link is given above, Check the product.

number 3 in my list is Karcher WD3 with 17Lcapacity and 1000W motor which gives 20kPa suction capacity.

It is an amazing looking vacuum cleaner with blower.
There is plastic in it and it is made with good material. There is a paper dust bag and a specific cartridge filter.
The cost of paper bag is ₹135/paper bag and that of cartridge filter is ₹400 which you will invest after it gets damaged.
It comes with newly developed floor nozzle and a Crevice nozzle. Its declared noise level are 73dB but during our testing it were 105dB. Let’s test its suction power.
It weighs 6Kg and has 4mt. Power cord. It has 1 year comprehensive and 5 years warranty on motor. It costs ₹7,000. Let’s talk about pros and cons. It is an amazing vacuum cleaner with good suction capacity. I

Its wet cleaning is good and cleans very precisely. But there is only 1 con- there is no power level to control its suction capacity. This might be too much to ask from wet and dry vacuum cleaner but had that control been given, it would have been good. Otherwise this is a good vacuum cleaner. Consider it for both wet and dry surfaces.

In a true sense it is a high suction & high power vacuum cleaner with blower. It has a stainless steel body & a reusable dust bag along with HEPA filter. It also has swivel wheels. Its declared noise level are 84dB but during our testing it were 105dB

It also has a HEPA filter. Then what are the cons? Its noise levels are a bit high. I think it is over-prized.
