India’s new Test vice captain Jasprit Bumrah is admittedly trying ahead to do his obligation and do it nicely. However, there are a lot of who believed that bowler can’t be nice leaders. It was solely lately that ex-selector Sarandeep Singh had stated that he was ‘surprised’ with Bumrah’s elevation. “I don’t look at it as a particular position, like a spinner or a fast bowler, or that batter is a leader. As a senior member of the team you have to help the players in whatever capacity you can. As I have spoken earlier For me it is just a post. Yes, it is a great opportunity that has presented itself, and I am very happy to do that. But other positions like a bowler or a batter doesn’t matter. It depends only how you handle that position, and how tactically strong you are. So, I will try and help Rohit in whatever way I can.”
With Shubman Gill and Hanuma Vihari again, there are speculations about India’s batting line up. But Bumrah refused to disclose any particulars, saying they’re but to chalk out their workforce mixtures so early.
“We simply had a take a look at the monitor. It’s a bit early to determine the mixtures.
