Australian cricket celebrity Shane Warne shall be honoured with a state funeral on the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the night of March 30, the Victorian state authorities stated Wednesday.
Warne died on the age of 52 on the Thai vacation island of Koh Samui on Friday. His physique is to be repatriated. An post-mortem discovered he had died of pure causes following a reported coronary heart assault.

Warne’s death sparked a global outpouring of grief from prime ministers, rock stars and fellow players, an acknowledgement that the Melbourne native transcended his sport.
