NEW DELHI : Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) have introduced a long-term partnership to allow the holistic progress of athletics in India. The conglomerate’s Reliance Foundation has been a devoted companion to AFI through the years and now the partnership is about to deepen the engagement between the 2 organizations.
The firm mentioned in an announcement that the partnership goals to find, nurture and develop Indian athletes from throughout the nation and supply them with amenities, teaching and sports activities science and medication help by leveraging the muse’s ecosystem. This consists of the Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics High-Performance Center and its Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.

As per a report by GroupM ESP, the leisure, esports and sports activities division of GroupM India, in a sports activities sponsorship report for India 2021 mentioned the scale of the Indian sports activities trade spends is estimated to have surpassed ₹9500 crore in 2021. The report took into consideration the sponsorship spends, participant endorsements and media spends on sports activities properties.
