Despite their two losses in 4 matches within the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Delhi Capitals’ all-rounder Shardul Thakur has stated that the crew is shifting in the correct course.
The 30-year-old all-rounder Thakur, who has made very important contributions with the bat, making 53 runs with the strike price of 196.30 and taking three wickets in 4 matches up to now, expressed that he desires to make an affect in each sport.
“The crew is shifting in the correct course and our Head Coach Ricky Ponting has at all times advised us to play our pure sport it doesn’t matter what the scenario is. He backs us so we at all times attempt to give our greatest,” Thakur stated.

Thakur also spoke about the importance of all-rounders in T20s, “We have great depth in our batting. The more all-rounders are there, the better it is for any team in T20s. If we lose quick wickets at the top, then the role of the players batting at 6,7 & 8 becomes important.”
“The surroundings throughout the crew is sort of good. There are plenty of children within the crew and we’re all pals as we’ve been taking part in collectively for a while. I prefer to make an affect in each match I play and that’s why I play with plenty of power,” the all-rounder added.

Thakur also spoke about his main focus as a cricketer, “I look to enjoy playing cricket. I have worked hard to reach this stage so I don’t want to put myself under any kind of pressure. Even when the crowd cheers for our opponents in the stadium, I look to enjoy those situations.”
The Delhi Capitals will tackle Royal Challengers Bangalore of their subsequent match of the TATA IPL 2022 on the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, April 16.
