India tour of West Indies Schedule confirmed, tour begins on July 22, 3ODIs & 5 T20Is to be performed: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Wednesday confirmed India’s white-ball tour of the West Indies in July. The Men in Blue are set to play three ODIs adopted by 5 matches T20I sequence in West Indies.
The tour will start on July 22 and run till August 7. Notably, India will conclude its England tour on July 17 and people named within the white ball squad in opposition to West Indies would journey on to the Caribbean.
While the ultimate two T20I matches are scheduled to be performed in Fort Lauderhill, Florida within the USA to cater the Indian diaspora, the prior fixtures (3 ODIs and the primary three T20Is) shall be staged throughout Trinidad and Tobago and St Kitts & Nevis.
USA’s Broward County Stadium in Florida will host the ultimate two T20I matches on August 6 and seven respectively.

“We have a young team that is eager to restore the brand of cricket the West Indies team is known for playing,” mentioned Nicholas Pooran, who has been appointed West Indies’ skipper not too long ago.
“As I take charge of this team, our ambition is to always be competitive, as we look to use this series to fine tune our preparations for the upcoming T20 and 50 Over World Cups.”
