Babil Khan has been fairly vocal about his loss ever since his father and one of the outstanding actors of the nation, Irrfan Khan, handed away in 2020. Through his social media posts, Babil has shared some intimate particulars and anecdotes defining his relationship together with his father who died of neuroendocrine most cancers on April 29, 2020. Now in his first interview, Babil, who is about to make his performing debut in Qala, informed GQ India how his mom Sutapa Sikdar sacrificed her profession for Irrfan.

The 23-year-old informed GQ India that Sutapa, who can also be an actor by career, ­sacrificed her profession to lift him and youthful brother Ayaan, and ensure Irrfan’s work continued uninterrupted. Babil added, “And let me tell you, she’s a very ambitious woman. It takes a lot to put your ambitions aside for your partner, for your children. It must’ve killed her to do it and yet she did. Baba was Baba because Mumma was Mumma. He’d be nothing without her.”Babil stated that he doesn’t assume Sutapa will get sufficient ­credit score for her sacrifice, not even from her late husband. The upcoming actor stated that it was solely after his illness that Irrfan acknowledged the size of Sutapa’s contribution to his success.
