Wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha on Saturday met the three-member committee shaped by the BCCI to research the matter of getting threatened by a journalist for interview. After the assembly, he spoke with media personnel and stated he has shared all the mandatory particulars on all the episode with the directors.
Last month, Saha tweeted a screenshot of messages from a journalist, after his exclusion from the Indian squad for the 2-match Test sequence towards Sri Lanka. The matter escalated after former cricketers backed the 37-year-old on social media.

Subsequently, the BCCI determined to unravel the problem and constituted a three-member committee which includes BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla, treasurer Arun Dhumal and apex council member Prabhtej Bhatia, to probe the matter.
“I have told the committee everything I know. All the details I have shared with them. I can’t tell you much right now. BCCI has asked me not to talk anything outside…about the meeting as they will answer all your queries,” Saha instructed reporters.
It stays to be seen whether or not Saha has revealed the identify of the journalist to the committee or not because the cricketer earlier had stated that he wouldn’t reveal the identify because it may hurt the journalist’s profession.

Saha, who has performed 40 Tests, has already been instructed by Indian crew administration that it has determined to groom a youthful wicket-keeper batter and for that cause, the veteran was missed for the Test squad towards Sri Lanka.
